We will visit your property to conduct an in-depth analysis of the systems and processes you currently use for your outdoor lighting.
We will review your current lighting infrastructure and its energy consumption to make recommendations on what your best energy savings solutions will be (Induction lighting versus LED).
We will also look at your energy bills, to ensure that our energy saving projections will be even more accurate.
What To Expect During Your On-Site Meeting and Field Survey
Upon visiting your property, we will first determine what technologies you are currently using and at what wattage and voltage levels. We will then conduct a comprehensive walk-through to ensure that we know the total numbers of fixtures you are currently using, and note where they are located – as their location may also suggest more than one retrofit solution.
Next is evaluating your usage. Are the lights set to a timer? Is the time on the timer correct? Do the lights turn on and off manually? What are the real true hours of lighting operation?
Then, depending on your energy provider, we will contact them to obtain your energy use report to match that data against our discovery process at your facility, getting confirmation on the kilowatt per hour rate.
All of this data gets entered into our Energy Savings Assessment online tool. The result will be a highly customized report and recommendation of what retrofit solutions will be best for your property, and what your projected savings in energy bills will be, along with a projected payback period – how long it will take you to recoup your retrofit solutions expense as compared to the amount of energy you will be saving.
